The only one of its kind, Ribbon Maker v1.6.2 by Hypershock provides for the WordPress user, the ability to add signage or what is called, ribbon banners to your site. The process is simple for non coders to configure the exact X,Y co-ordinates of each corner for the page with adjustment to layering and links. The developer is quite responsive to feature request and support.
Talking Manuals will be using this great plugin to demonstrate it usefulness. Version 1.6.2 and previous versions displays the banner as floating while page scrolling.
- I would like to see where you may toggle the option not to float
- Secondly, I would like to see a dedicated folder for the ribbon images. The media folder would not be my first desire as the Ribbon images would be better accessed and managed via a dedicated folder
- Load image via URL, this would allow Ribbon Maker to act as an alert from one central location
Con: When updating this plugin the ribbon image may get deleted.
Ribbon Maker receives from me a 5 rating. I would like to give my gratitude to Hypershock of Ribbon Maker. Hypershock and other the WordPress plugin developers make it possible for individuals to bring services and education to the public.
